It’s hard to decide which side of the conflict to root for since neither shows much moral authority. But we soon discover that the true villains, the Nachash, shapeshifters whose ruler is the devil himself, have been influencing them both. The future of mankind teeters in the balance as the expansive cast of characters confront their foes both physical and spiritual.
The novel contains violence, romance, and plenty of magic, but also reflects the biblical values of honesty, courage, and faith. Fans of The Old Testament, The Game of Thrones, Arthurian Legend, and even Beowulf will enjoy this richly layered story.
